In a move to enable easy access to the Java Card development kit, Universal Smart Cards have launched a new partner programme. By working alongside key players, with high levels of knowledge and expertise in Java card development, the company will make java card development more open to developers, R & D departments, consultants, SME’s and educational institutions. As well as providing the kit at an accessible price, each partner will also be involved in the forum, providing support in their specialist field to users of the Universal JCard.
Microexpert, designers and developers of electronic payment systems are an obvious choice as a first round partner due to their wealth of experience customising and developing Java Cards for payment systems, authentication and access control. The company has a 30 year history working as consultants, trainers, security architects, developers and designers. As cryptographic specialist they have an in-depth knowledge of electronic and digital cash systems, IoT, data integrity, authentication and mobile payments.
